Lovers Workshop
sustaining and maintaining intimacy in all our relationships
Lovers Workshop
sustaining + maintaining intimacy in relationships
Workshop Description
We bring the whole of who we are to all of our relationships. Relationship guides us through the wild territory of who we were, who we are, and who we are becoming. Angeles Arrien said the relationship is one of the greatest healing crucibles available to human beings. What is being called for in my crucible at this time? How can we grow in closeness, understanding, and authenticity? How do we receive these gifts? What do relationships give us? In the Lovers Workshop, we will learn tools to become more full-hearted in our relationships. If we are not whole, how can we ask anyone else to be what we ourselves are not?
Experientially, we will explore the terrain of our own happiness, and what a relationship needs through its many initiations and fires. To co-create a loving and truthful partnership, the fire of transmutation, the flow of flexibility, the spirit of shared and personal vision, and the profound innocence it takes to fall in love, with the added wisdom of what it means to stay, cultivate, regenerate, sustain, and maintain intimacy in all our relationships.
Please bring a partner to this workshop. This can either be a lover or a good friend. The exercises will be for people to work in pairs.
